Recycling work: How to convert a Hairband into a Brooch/clip

Dont we all just love rosettes. I believe that there is no better way to welcome spring than with flowers. So keeping in mind my theme for this month - Reinvention or Re purposed jewelry, I would now like to show you a quick way to whip up a rosette brooch/clip in less than 15 minutes (10 with practice :).
I have used an old hairband (pony tailer) that had gotten elongated because of use. It can no longer be used as a band but that is what makes it great for this project.

Materials required:
- old hair band with elastic,
- a shank button (I have used a stone studded shank button that I have with me from my MG days),
- Some seed beads or micro beads
- Clear Glue
- sewing thread and needle
- A piece of felt
- A brooch pin/safety pin or a Barret (depending on whether you want to make a brooch or a hair clip)

T-shirt Scarf Tutorial

My Readers,
Time for a super easy tutorial. I'm giving away one of my secrets so get ready! This is a simple jersey scarf made from a plain t-shirt. I get mine for $1-$2 at the thrift store. That is all this craft will cost you!
Here's what you need: an old men/women's XL t-shirt (XXL works too), scissors, and a flat space to work. Easy, right?

Rrecycling: How to make blooming bib

In my search for the perfect colorful accessory I came across this T-shirt that I bought from theDollar Tree,
the color was just right so I started to cut. I took pictures along the way in case it turned out kind of cool.
I'm glad I did because I LOVE IT! So now I can share it with all you pretties!

Supplies:
1-2 Sheets of Felt (depending on how big you want your necklace to be)
Needle and Thread
A Dollar Store T-shirt (or an old one around the house)
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
